Stay & Play
Tuesday 30th July marked the beginning of our free 'Stay & Play' sessions, an attempt to provide a space for parents, grandparents and carers to meet together and chat, swap ideas, etc., and for their charges to play together.
The idea is that the Library provides the space - our smaller activity room - at no cost along with a range of chairs, tables, toys, paper, crayons, etc., and that the adults and children make of it what they will.
Tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and small treats will be available to purchase, but the Library will not be organising any activities although
we hope that, in time, the attendees might organise something.
It's early days so watch this space to see how things develop.
