Row over willow tree which 'could close Scartho library'
THE future of a Grimsby library and its £120,000 extension could hinge on whether permission is granted to rip out an old willow tree
Paul Silvester, chief officer at Foresight, said the proposed single storey extension was necessary if the Scartho library is to sustain itself over the coming years - but he admitted he may be forced to "shut the doors" if the tree is not removed.
