Bench at Scartho Library to remember 'wonderful and dignified' Charles 'Les' Brewste
A commemorative bench has been placed in the grounds of Scartho Library in tribute to the late Charles Leslie Brewster.
Known as Les from an early age as his father was also called Charles Brewster, Les was born in Selby and spent the majority of his life in Hull; where he was a master baker in the family business.
He and his wife Vera moved to Waltham and finally to Lavenham Road, Scartho for the past 30 years.
Sadly Vera passed away in 2007 and Les passed away on March 28, 2016.
